iSRS on iPhone deleted cards and categories!

I just paid $4.99 for the iSRS and have been practicing happily until
I realized that it deleted 38 of my 42 cancer biology note cards!
Where they did go? I tried to download the mem file back to my
Windows PC and they actually deleted 2 more categories of cards (my
physics and general chemistry).
What is going on?! How can I get them back???
