Since 1996, the Internet Archive has worked tirelessly to build a collective digital library of humanity's online history. Here is a brief overview of the resources we have preserved thus far (and counting!):
- 1 trillion web pages
- 175+ unique petabytes of data (175,000,000 gigabytes)
- 24,000 collections totaling 6.6 PB
- 49 million texts in the collections, including books, documents, and magazines
- 3 million news programs available with closed captions
- 10 million movie items
- And, of course, much more!
