Cannot compile. Throws Apple AWT exception. I have been compiling fine on
Windows 32-bit and Mac 32-bit with java 1.5. Not sure if it' s the new jdk
or the 64-bit OS.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
This occurs just after the comman line string for compiling is
displayed by
the plugin
