This role is a dual QA/BA role. The BA responsibilities will be shared with the Scrum master.
Location: New Albany, Ohio
Rate: on Corp to Corp.
Overall Responsibilities
· Create and execute test scenarios on pace with the overall team.
· Is a team-player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment which emphasizes establishment of self-organized teams, surrendering control to the team, and being tolerant of imperfection, while helping to drive towards the goal.
· Inspires teams by demonstrating Agile values and ensuring the value behind the practices is understood.
· Facilitates, enforces and defends the sprint delivery while proactively looking ahead to identify and mitigate potential impacts to delivery.
· Continually seeks and helps to implement improvements, within the team and the organization.
· Creates, maintains, and tests stories for the features and benefits as defined by the scrummaster and product owners
· Works with remote testers to ensure 100% test coverage for the sprints
· Oversees the update and maintenance of the automation scripts for the support of regression
Qualifications
· Must have 3+ years IT experience
· Must have 2+ years experience in a software development environment.
· Must have 1+ years of Scrum Master experience.
· Must have direct experience with a Scrum team following the guidance contained in The Scrum Guide.
· Must possess a BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience
· Must have exceptional written and verbal communication and time management skills.
· Must be self-motivated, organized, self-confident and self-directing with a proven ability to identify priorities and mobilize initiatives in an orderly fashion to achieve desired results with minimal supervision.
· Must possess excellent situational awareness and an ability to remain calm under pressure and be cognizant of how you are perceived.
· Demonstrated ability to build business relationships and gain the trust of others, while embracing constructive feedback.
· Open to changing business conditions, technology and system changes.
· Able to balance tolerance of imperfection with a rigorous need for timely, effective outcomes.
· Excellent interpersonal skills including organizational, issue resolution, and customer relationship management skills and an ability to work with diverse personality types.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail.
· Ability to quickly grasp and understand technical issues and concepts.
· Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines.
· Uncompromising honesty and transparency.
· Understands the need for balancing efficiency with effectiveness.
· Hands-on experience in the proactive, passionate improvement of software development process and practices to optimize business value delivery.
· Preferred to have experience with distributed development teams which span multiple geographies, time zones and cultures.
· Preferred to have direct experience in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
·Preferred to have experience in a retail environment.
