Thats “the” classic book on the subj, so it should be ok to start with.

For a more advanced stage I’ve heard “Crafting Rails 4 Applications” is good, though I didn’t actually ready it (just bought it for our bookshelf ;): http://pragprog.com/book/jvrails2/crafting-rails-4-applications
