QA Core Team Leader
The Testing (Quality Assurance - QA) team leads designs and develops company's quality tools and processes. The team monitors the entire company development environment, which includes both back-end and front-end applications, and monitors development of all professional services for company's customers.
The Testing team has a robust testing methodology that includes Software Test Plans (STPs), Software Test Designs (STDs) per request and Software Test Reports (STRs) per each testing cycle. The Testing team also develops automated tests.
Description
Lead a small QA application team - 70% Hands On
Test products
Coordinate with diverse teams within the company, such as product management, development teams
Design and perform tests
Write test and results documents
Work in an results-driven, high-pressured environment
Requirements
Experience in planning and implementing tests for web applications - at least three years' experience - required
Hands on - 70% - a must.
Candidate should have proven experience in leading small teams (1-2 years).
Can lead and review applicative tests.
Proven ability to deliver (1-2 years) - Preparing documentations, leading defects meetings
Experience in testing Flash, streaming and video applications - required
Experience working with databases - required
Linux and Apache experience - required
In-depth familiarity with QA methodologies - required
Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL - advantage
Ability to write scripts in one of the above languages - significant advantage
BA in computer science or equivalent degree - advantage
Innovative and familiar with various methodologies.
Familiar with automation (As a user) - an advantage.
