Applications Engineer
Experienced engineer to provide remote support of customers on
technical computing clusters. The scope of responsibilities may
include a range of pre-sales and post-sales activities.
Application Support
* Technology presentations * Support for customer activities *
Technical applications port to Linux, MPI cluster architecture *
Application benchmarking * Application performance analysis and
optimization * Contributions to online experience database
Field Support
* Monitoring logs * Scheduling PM * Handling trouble calls * Running
Diagnostics * Calling for replacement of failed modules
Experience Required
* Minimum BS in Math, EE, CS or Science. * MS or PhD preferred. * 3+
years experience in a broad set of activities ranging from application
development in C, C++, Java and FORTRAN to simple Unix/Linux
administration. * Experience with scientific and engineering
applications is required. * Experience with parallel applications
(MPI, OpenMP and/ or threads) and performance optimization is highly
desirable. * Professional manner and ability to contribute in a teamed
environment is required.
