הקונצרט "על פסגת הפארנסוס" מבוטל
אוהבי מוזיקה יקרים,
שימו לב: הקונצרט הקרוב שלנו, שעמד להתקיים ב-26/4 במוזיאון תל אביב, מבוטל. מאזינינו הותיקים ודאי זוכרים כי גם שנה שעברה בוטל קונצרט ובו האפותיאוזות של קופראן, עקב הולדת בנה של רחל, הכנרת שלנו. גם הפעם אנו נאלצים לבטל בנסיבות משמחות: זהר ושרון קיבלו את בנם הבכור, עמנואל!
אנו מתנצלים על עגמת הנפש, ומקוים כי בעונה הבאה נוכל סופסוף להגיש את האפותיאוזות של קופראן (שכנראה מאוד אהובות על החסידות.) במקום זאת אנו מזמינים אתכם לשני אירועים במתכונת קונצרט-שיחה שנקיים בתיבה (בחצרות יפו) במהלך אפריל-מאי, על הקשר בין מוזיקה עתיקה ומוזיקה בת-זמננו, ועל חופש בתוך מסגרת בתהליך היצירה המוזיקלית, עם לילי הנלי: כינור, זהר שפי: צ'מבלו, עירא גבעול: ויולה דה גמבה ושרון רוזנר: ויולה דה גמבה. בין היתר יבוצעו בקונצרטים אלה יצירות מאת באך, קורנליוס קרדיו, ומארן מאריי.

Parnassus Concert Cancelled
Dear music lovers,
Please notice: our forthcoming concert that was supposed to be held on 26/4 at the Tel Aviv Museum is cancelled. Our listeners may recall that last year's Couperin concert was also cancelled following the birth of Rachel's son. This time we also cancel for auspicious reasons: Zohar and Sharon have just received their first son, Emanuel!
We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope that next season we will be able to present Couperin's apotheoses (ostriches are apparently very fond of his music...) Instead we invite you to two events presented in the form of a concert-discussion, which we will hold at the Teiva in Jaffa during April and May, about the relation between early music and contemporary music, and freedom and constraints in the musical creative process, with Lily Henley: violin, Zohar Shefi: harpsichord, Ira Givol: viola da gamba and Sharon Rosner: viola da gamba. Among the pieces to be performed are works by Bach, Cornelius Cardew and Marin Marais.
