Gili Rinot leads a fascinating programOur historical clarinets player Gili Rinot is leading a fascinating project to be premiered on Motzei Shabat February 8th at 20:30 at Studio Annette, featuring also PHOENIX's members Kobi Rubinstein, Amos Boasson and Marina Katz.
It is really a great opportunity to hear this program, not to be missed!  מוסיקה קאמרית זעירה "מה אנחנו רוצים בעצם, מה אנחנו רוצים? רק לנגן, לנגן," כתב המשורר ישראל פנקס בשירו "רביעיית מיתרים"*. בווינה סביב 1800 כולם רצו לנגן, ובעיקר רביעיות: לפני ואחרי האוכל, באירועים חגיגיים ובקונצרטים ביתיים, עם בני המשפחה או עם וירטואוזים אורחים, יצירות מקוריות או עיבודים, עם חזרות או – שכיח יותר – בקריאה מהדף. וגם עם קלרינט: במיוחד למשל כשהמארח היה אציל שניגן על הכלי. בקונצרט ננגן רביעיות קלרינט מאת מוצרט והומל, וסונטה לכינור וויולה מאת מיכאל היידן. הרביעייה אופוס 79 מספר 1 של מוצרט היא בעצם עיבוד מ-1799 לסונטה הכובשת K.378/317d לכינור ופסנתר. הומל, ילד הפלא שהיה תלמידו של מוצרט ויורשו של היידן בחצר הנסיך אסטרהאזי, כתב והקדיש רביעית קלרינט לרוזן יוהאן פרידריך זינזנדורף – שכמו הנסיך ניגן גם הוא בקלרינט. כתב היד של היצירה הנושא את התאריך ״ספטמבר 1808״ התגלה רק במאה הקודמת. מיכאל היידן – אחיו הצעיר והלא מספיק מוכר של יוזף היידן, התבקש לכתוב שש סונטות לכינור וויולה עבור מעסיקו הנסיך-ארכיבישוף קולורדו מזלצבורג, שניגן בכינור. אנקדוטה שנשתרשה מספרת שהיידן הספיק לכתוב ארבע סונטות אולם אז חלה ופנה לחברו מוצרט שיכתוב את השתיים האחרונות. *"ארבעה עשר שירים" (עכשיו, 1961) האנסמבל הרומנטי הישראלי מתמחה בביצוע מודע היסטורית בכלים מן התקופה, בדגש על יצירות מן התקופה הרומנטית והקלאסית.

Although he never left Germany, Johann Sebastian Bach journeyed in his imagination to Italy through the study of the works of Italian masters of his time. Here are some of his works of Italian inspiration: two fugues on themes by Corelli and Albinoni; the Aria Variata alla maniera italiana, the Capriccio sulla lontananza del fratello dilettissimo and the celebrated Italian Concerto, revealed in new clothing, in arrangements made for string instruments and harpsichord by Myrna Herzog and Marina Minkin. Our hearty thanks to Dror Semmel of the Eden-Tamir Music Center in Jerusalem, to Uri Golomb of the Israeli Radio Kan Kol HaMusica and to Ronen Berkovich for their encouragement to publicize this recording.
