הנני שמח להודיעכם על שני רסיטלים שבהם אני מבקש לחנוך את תרליטורי החדש: וריאציות גולדברג מאת באך.

31.1.2012 בשעה 20:00 בכנסית המשיח (Christ Church) בירושלים, שם אף הוקלט התקליטור. הכנסיה נמצאת בעיר העתיקה, קרוב מאד לשער יפו – מול הכניסה למוזיאון מגדל דוד. הכניסה חופשית, אבל מספר מקומות מוגבל!
ארשה לעצמי להביא כמה ציטוטים מהמכתבים שקיבלתי מעמיתיי, בעקבות התקליטור (שמות המצוטטים שמורים במערכת; אולם, אני מבטיח שאף לא אחד מהם הוא אמי או אישתי – בוודאי וודאי לא אחי!):
*חויה מוסיקלית חד-פעמית... *זהו תקליטור נהדר!... *יצרת משהו משלך, ובאותה עת נגינתך כולה מדברת על באך. בראבו!... *התרשמתי, ואף התרגשתי... מהמודעות למבנה, כמו גם מה גמישות והרגש... * התקליטור יוצא מנ הכלל... * נגינתך היא מדהימה... זהו הישג בלתי רגיל... *גולדברג נפלא! הנגינה מעולה – וגם הצליל נהדר. מ ע ד ן!

I am happy to inform you about two recitals that inaugurate my new CD: Bach Goldberg Variations.
28.1.2012 at 8pm, at Rosie’s Salon: 36 Simtat Moshe Dayan, Giv’at Shmuel. Entrance fee: 80 NIS, incl. (much recommended) coctails.

31.1.2012 at 8pm at the Christ Church, Jerusalem (where the CD was recorded): Old City, right next to Jaffa Gate – opposite Tower of David Museum. Admission free, but number of seats is limited.
May I take the liberty of quoting some of the reaction to this CD I received from my colleagues (although names of persons quoted here are withheld, I assure you that none of them is my mother or my wife - certainly not my brother!):
* Unique musical experience… * The CD is superb!... * You created something your own and in the same time your performance is all about Bach. Bravo!... * I was very inspired by it, and moved too - … by the awareness of structure as well as flexibility and feeling… * Extraordinarily fine CD * Your playing is amazing… It is an extraordinary achievement… * Absolutely great Goldberg! Superb playing – and great sound too. D E L I S C I O U S !
