[PHILOS-L] Conference Invitation – Ethics and Ontology: Between Spinoza and Deleuze (Université Bordeaux-Montaigne, 4–5 December 2025)

Dear Colleagues,

We are very pleased to invite you to the conference Ethics and Ontology: Between Spinoza and Deleuze, which will take place at Université Bordeaux-Montaigne on 4–5 December 2025.

This conference aims to shed new light on Deleuze’s reading of Spinoza, based on an analysis of his 1980–1981 lectures at the Centre Universitaire Expérimental de Vincennes (CUEV), recently published under the title Sur Spinoza. Cours novembre 1980 – mars 1981, edited by David Lapoujade (Paris: Éditions de Minuit, 2024).

The conference will be held in French.

The event will take place at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme de Bordeaux (MSHBx), on the Pessac campus of Université Bordeaux-Montaigne (19, esplanade des Antilles, 33607 Pessac). The schedule is as follows:
