[rete] SIC 2026 – Neuchâtel / La Chaux-de-Fonds – Important Updates

Hello everyone,

Regarding the SIC 2026 in Neuchâtel – La Chaux-de-Fonds (7-11 september 2026), we have two key updates to share:

1. Abstract submission deadline extended to 15 March 2026.
   If you’re still preparing your abstract, you now have additional time — please use it to your advantage.
   2. Call for support grants is now open - deadline: 30 April 2026.
   This year, thanks to the generous support of the Watch Academy Foundation — and building on the continued and essential support of the DHST — we have increased funding available.
   
   We encourage applications from:
   • Students
   • Early-career scholars
   • Researchers with limited financial resources
   • Individuals from groups underrepresented in our community
   Support may cover travel expenses.

We also plan to offer a reduced conference registration fees for people on low incomes. We aim to ensure broad participation.
