Final Call for Papers: Oxford Graduate Philosophy Conference

Submission Deadline Next Week: Monday, 19 July 2021

We welcome submissions from all graduate students working in philosophy for the 25th Annual Oxford Graduate Philosophy Conference, to be held on 13-14th November 2021 at the University of Oxford.

The University of Oxford’s annual graduate philosophy conference enjoys a reputation as one of the most prestigious philosophy conferences at the graduate level. Papers can be on any topic in philosophy. We aim to represent a broad range of philosophical debates and traditions, across areas of both theoretical and practical philosophy.

Each student presentation will be followed by a response from a member of the Oxford Philosophy Faculty. All submissions will undergo a double-blind review process. Presenting offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your research to an enthusiastic and welcoming audience.

Eligibility

All current graduate students in philosophy may submit to the conference, except students enrolled in Oxford at the time of the conference. The submission deadline is next week: Monday, 19 July 2021.

Submission information

All submissions should be made via our EasyChair website, which can be found here: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=25oxfordgradconf.

Submitted papers should be no more than 4,000 words, inclusive of title and footnotes, and should include an additional 500-word abstract. More information can be found on our website: https://users.ox.ac.uk/~gradconf/cfp.shtml. With any questions feel free to contact us at gradconf[at]philosophy.ox.ac.uk.

We particularly encourage submissions by philosophers from groups underrepresented in the discipline. We look forward to reading your submissions.

Best wishes,

Matt Rosen

On behalf of the organising committee
