Apply for 3-year Postdoc Individual Fellowship at CETE-P in Prague (Mark Coeckelbergh)
Are you a philosopher with research interest in environmental ethics and/or technology ethics? We encourage you to consider applying for GACR Postdoc Individual Fellowship at the Center for Environmental and Technology Ethics - Prague (CETE-P).
CETE-P is a Horizon Europe funded ERA Chair project led by Mark Coeckelbergh. CETE-P is based at the Institute of Philosophy in Prague, the largest humanities institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The main aim of CETE-P is to connect ethical research on environmental and technological issues.
The duration of GACR Postdoc Individual Fellowship is up to 36 months. While carrying out their own research project, the GACR Postdoc Fellows will profit from participating in the vibrant international environment of CETE-P as well as the Department of Applied Philosophy and Ethics at the Institute of Philosophy in Prague.
Researchers applying for GACR Postdoc Individual Fellowship must meet the following conditions:
The applicant must be an outstanding early-career researcher with a PhD awarded after 30 September 2019, but not later than 30 September 2023.
The applicant must have spent at least 2 years of the last 3 years outside the Czech Republic, either in the form of PhD study and/or employment at a non-Czech academic institution.
The applicant must be ready to relocate to Prague for the entire duration of the Fellowship.
No restrictions apply with respect to the applicant’s age and nationality. Female researchers are strongly encouraged to apply.
The deadline for submitting the application to GACR (Czech Science Foundation) is 4 April 2023 for fellowships starting in January 2024.
