Dear all,

I am delighted to announce the workshop “What Are Democratic Elections For?”, organised within the project REVoTED—Rethinking Elections: Voter Trust, Equality and Democracy.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, from 10:00 to 18:45, and on Thursday, 25 June 2026, from 9:45 to 15:45, at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, University of Milan, SPS Seminar Room (Passione side), Via Conservatorio 7, Milan.

It will also be possible to attend the workshop remotely via Zoom. Those who wish to attend, whether in person or remotely, are kindly asked to register via the following link: https://www.revoted.eu/workshop.html. The registration deadline is Thursday, 18 June 2026 for in-person attendance, and Tuesday, 23 June 2026 at noon for remote attendance.

The programme will feature papers by Enrico Biale, Udit Bhatia, Valeria Ottonelli, Ryan Pevnick, Joseph Lacey, Elena Ziliotti, Carlo Burelli, Giulia Bistagnino, Kevin Elliott, and Chiara Destri.
