Tenure-track professorship (grade W2) in Philosophy of Human Rights (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg)

The Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Theology at  Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) invites applications for a tenure-track W2 professorship in the philosophy of human rights at the Institute of Philosophy at the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy. FAU offers the long-term perspective of a permanent appointment to a W2-professorship if the requirements of the tenure evaluation are met.

(In Germany, a W2-professorship corresponds roughly to a full professorship without a chair; if you are unfamiliar with the German academic rank system, please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academic_ranks_in_Germany for a general overview.)

For further information please see: https://www.fau.eu/research/research-careers/professorships/vacancies-for-professorships/#tenure-track-position-as-associate-professor-of-philosophy-of-human-rights-salary-group-w2

Applications should be submitted by August 17, 2026.
