Dear moderators,

I am writing to forward the attached call for papers for the 12th Doctoral Conference in Political Theory at Sciences Po, which will take place on 27–28 May 2026. I also join the email to introduce the call under this message.

I would be very grateful if you could circulate this call on the PHILO-L mailing list.

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to share with you the call for papers for our Graduate Conference in Political Theory. The conference will take place on 27–28 May 2026 in Sciences Po. And we will have the honore of welcoming the feminist philosopher Miranda Fricker. The link to consult the call is the following : https://philevents.org/event/show/143530?fbclid=IwY2xjawOw8etleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAEwAAEeWRwf7lviftCCvgfxNqmg-WyIrXXBlna-oohhBgWsv9taULNdFq0I31fmRYE_aem_19iAcKX1TFRhrgObK6HqSQ

Aimed primarily at doctoral candidates and early-career researchers, the conference seeks to revisit the vulnerable relationship between speech and politics by exploring it through three main themes: voice, silence, and listening.

Paper proposals, in English or French (title, 300 words, indicative bibliography not included), together with a short biographical note, should be sent to the following email addresses by 31 January 2026: aymeri...@sciencespo.frlucie....@sciencespo.frperrine....@sciencespo.frlino....@sciencespo.frgabriell...@sciencespo.fr. Please indicate the following subject line in your email: “Speech and Politics – Proposal.”

Thank you for your attention,

We look forward to reading your submissions.

Kind regards,

The Organising Committee
(Lino Castex, Perrine Chabanel, Lucie Granier-Sicard, Gabrielle Jourde, Aymeric Leroy)
