  Dear All,

We are pleased to announce the „Episodic Memory: Functions Across Contexts“ Workshop to take place at the London School of Economics and Political Science on February 6th, 2026. The workshop will bring together leading researchers working on the functions of episodic memory, as part of the UKRI grant project „Episodic Memory: Uniquely Human?“ led by Ali Boyle. Funding is available to support workshop participation for two undergraduate or Master students considering a career in philosophy/cognitive science. This support with cover economy travel from within Europe, hotel accommodation, and conference meals.

This is a unique opportunity for undergraduate or master students working on episodic memory or related issues (e.g., functions more generally) to directly engage with leading researchers, learn about cutting-edge research, and get a glimpse of what an academic career can look like.

To apply, please fill out this form and upload (1) a letter of motivation (750 words max) outlining your research interests/experience and indicating how you would benefit from attending the workshop; and (2) a CV. The application deadline is the 14th of November 2025 (23:59 AoE). Notification of Acceptance will be sent out in December.

Please feel free to forward this to any students who might be interested.

Any questions can be directed at r.m.d...@lse.ac.uk or episodicmem...@gmail.com
