Dear Colleagues,
The nomination period is now open for the Abraham Pais Prize and Fellowship through the Forum on the History and Philosophy of Physics. We invite you to submit nominations and help recognize outstanding contributions to the history of physics.
The Abraham Pais Prize honors exceptional achievements in the history of physics, including scholarly research, writing, and broader efforts that advance understanding of the field’s historical development. FHPP Fellowship recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the history of physics through research, scholarship, or service to the community.
Nominations should include all required materials and be submitted by the established deadline. Complete details on eligibility, criteria, and submission instructions are available on the APS Honors website.
We encourage you to consider deserving colleagues and to share this opportunity within your professional networks. If you have any questions or need assistance with the nomination process, please feel free to contact APS Honors staff at hon...@aps.org. To nominate an individual for recognition or funding, you:
- Do not need to be an APS member
- May only submit one nomination for a particular prize or award, excluding nominations for APS Fellowship and Unit Awards
- May not submit a self-nomination
