Dear practitioners of international science policy/ science diplomacy,

 

In the spirit of building an Inter-American network of science policy fellows, the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) is pleased to invite up to four (4) Canada-based science technology policy fellows, academics, and policy practitioners to participate in the 2024-2025 STeP science diplomacy training programPreviously Mitacs Canadian Science Policy Fellows have particpated in the STeP program and this year we are pleased to open the program to Canadians from diverse sectors. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning about and practicing skills in science diplomacy, as well as connecting and collaborating with US, Latin American, and Caribbean science-policy fellows and organizations. This program is also for those working or interested in global environmental change issues and in promoting the synthesis and uptake of science to support regional actions to meet sustainable development goals.
