Hello Colleagues!

I hope that you had an enjoyable break! Our crisis simulation is a month away and we have a few things we need to do, which I think will be done with ease if we all work together! I am sending you the sign up sheet for the actor packets as well as roles. Please SIGN UP BY JANUARY 6TH so we know what everyone is working on. Also, let me know if I am missing something in the sign up sheet or you would like to add something please feel free to do so.

This is what the actor packets should include:
Country / Actor Packets: These packets contain the background information necessary for participants to accurately represent the positions of different actors. All country packets should include the following information:
•	Maps: Regional and Country Maps
•	Objectives / Constraints: Provide each actor with 5 objectives to pursue in the simulation and with 3 constraints that they must keep in mind when strategizing actions. These numbers can vary, but confirm that each actor has the same number of objectives and constraints.
•	Relationships with Other Players: Provide 2-4 paragraphs each of background information on the given actor’s relationship with each additional player. 
•	Vital Statistics: Provide key demographic data, military force #s / capabilities, economic measurements, etc. The CIA Factbook is a good source for this data.
•	Current Events:  Include 4 – 6 recent news stories (past 3 months) involving the actor that may be relevant to the scenario. This can include financial / economic news, political stability news, or news relating to relationships with other players. 
•	Links: Provide a list of links where participants can access additional relevant information. This can be local media sources for the actor, CIA  Factbook, Relevant journal articles, etc.
