Are you outraged by the verdict of the trial of George Zimmerman? He has been found not guilty on both charges: 2nd degree murder and manslaughter. This is appalling and unfortunately not surprising. Our nation has a long undeniable history of perpetuating its racist injustice system. Read here about what happened last year in Florida. A black Florida woman fired warning shots to protect herself from her abusive husband and was convicted to 20 years in prison. Under the same Stand Your Ground law, George Zimmerman chased and brutally murdered an unarmed child. He has been found not guilty and let free. This makes no sense.
