There were many versions, so... you said yours had a cam and mic... I'm guessing it was the C#.NET version. I _believe_ it was .NET Framework 2.0. If that doesn't work then try installing 3.0 and then 3.5. They can all be installed simultaneously on the same machine. You may need to reboot before it works after a framework install (don't remember). Here's the microsoft links:
In other news, the Java version does work now (not available for download, sorry)... not sure the last time I posted an update... that said, it was still too slow (takes about 10 minutes of conversation to train it to play rock/paper/scissors), it would take 8 seconds to respond, and it wasn't connected yet back to an interface yet. We may keep going with the Java version and just connect up to the interface and do a release, but temporarily we're trying porting the code to C to see if there's a substantial performance increase for the neural network with the new method.
