We have a busy March.  Many different areas we in the Pittsburgh ISO are involved in activism are having rallies in the next few weeks.

-On Saturday, March 19 @ 12:00pm there will be a march and rally against the upcoming cuts to the bus service and layoffs.  It is located at the intersection of Beacon and Murray in Squirrel Hill.  Anyone who uses a bus or the T should come support this critical issue.

-The next Saturday, March 26 again @ 12:00pm there will be an anti-war march and rally.  A rally to save jobs and stop the wars.  This will begin at 47th and Butler in Lawrenceville.

-Later that afternoon we are sponsoring a speaker about the history of wars and the working class.  It is ISO member Sharon Smith author of Subtarrean Fire a history of the US labor movement and Women and Socialism.  It will be at 4pm Stephen Foster Community Center (286 Main Street between Butler Street & Penn Avenue), which is in walking distance of the end of the march.  (OK it's not really a rally but you should still come.)

-And on Tuesday, March 29 11:30am @ 107 6th Street Downtown there will be a rally against a meeting of gas industry leaders, who will be meeting in the Renaissance hotel.  We want to protest their policies of dangerous new forms of drilling to make a corporate profit, while not being concerned for ordinary people's well-being.

Hope to everyone at what ever you are free to come to!

Solidarity
