Congratulations to the people of Egypt and Tunisia on the successful overthrow of their dictators!
Remember we are having a short presentation and then a discussion on the unfolding revolutions in the Middle East tonight (Monday Feb. 14) at 7:30 in the Pitt student union, dinning Hall A.
All are welcome. You can come to learn more about events or discuss more with others about what is going on and what has happened. How do revolutions work? Can ordinary people change history? Wat role can workers, student or peasants play? We can discuss all of this and more!
The
history of a revolution is for us first of all the history of the
forcible entrance of the masses into the realm of rulership over their
own destiny. - Leon Trotsky
