PROPOSED AGENDA FOR MONDAY ISO MEETING (March 14), with suggested time limits

 

1. Intrroductions & approval of agenda -- 3 minutes

 

2. March 19 transit protest -- 10 minutes

 

3. March 26 anti-war protest -- 10 minutes

 

4. Sharon's visit -- 15 minutes

 

5. Educational on Women and Socialism -- 1 hour

 

 

Unfortunately, I will be out of town on Monday, speaking at a book launch for The Letters of Rosa Luxemburg:

Being that we *hope* people other than us will be there, I suggest we put point #5 right after introductions and approval of agenda.  In a study group type meeting or public type meeting, I think it's best to have business points at the end because it's that aspect of the meeting that takes precedence.  We should involve everyone in the business who comes, member or no, but it's kind of off-putting to come to a publicly advertised event and you get hit with more than half an hour of internal business.
