Financial Controller

We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join our Amazing Finance team in San Francisco! You’ll lead the financial activities and accounting operations at our 3 US locations (SF, Miami, and NY). In addition, you will oversee the preparation of our budget and forecasts, as well as the development of our internal guidelines.

 

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure quality control regarding financial transactions and reporting
• Develop business processes & accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
• Monitor the performance of the department
• Oversee all tax and regulatory/compliance issues
• Manage all payroll processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined accounting and finance experience
• Strong proficiency in financial statement creation
• Proven understanding of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes
• Excellent grasp of accounting software (including QuickBooks) and administrative skills
• Worked with ADP
• CPA or CMA – advantage
