This standard is the next in-line for the BS7799 series. We have, of course, previously had BS7799-1

ISO 27001 has, after a number of months in final draft, finally been published as an official ISO

The final draft (FDIS) has today been published, with the final version expected to be available

The 'second part' of the ISO 17799 security standard, known as BS7799-2, is being redeveloped
