Hi, does anyone have any information regarding insurance coverage for a QEEG, or and neurofeedback training?

I'd appreciate any assistance with this!!

This varies across insurance companies and across states - we have no problem getting paid for qEEG as a licensed neuropsychologist - neurofeedback in our state has been a  challenge -

In our State (Washington) my clients receive some reimbursement for QEEGs, but receive better reimbursement rates for NFB. It also depends on the insurance plan. Those in Tech industries obtain adequate reimbursements for these services!

In New Jersey, the teacher's union was evidently well informed. And had mandatory coverage for Neurofeedback in their contract.... subject to blue cross gatekeeping, which Ashley did approve.
Sessions, in a case I was familiar with
Or the young adult child was in the dc area, but still on the parents insurance policy.

But it is unusual to have a lot, and a couple decades back.A corporation employer covered it on their health care policy written in new york state comma because the state legislature had mandated that medication not be the first level of treatment for adhd. I'm not sure if that law is still in a factor if there was a sunset clause in  that bill... that terminated the law.
