Hi Cory,
I'm not sure about published work, but I have seen an increase in Theta activity - not as much as with first generation antihistamines, but still noticeable.  Have others noticed this?  Ed

Yes it has sone sedative effects so increase in Theta has been noted with a decrease in beta and sometimes in alpha. ...there have been several studies to show this....thus it can offset benefits of ADHD meds or theta/beta training protocols.

Might need to clarify which type of Zyrtec.

Since there is Zyrtec antihistamine and

Zyrtec D which has a decongestant (pseudoephedrine) ... which appears to be stimulating ('may interfere with sleep')
