Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that the American Psychological Association (APA) will hold its annual Convention and is currently seeking submissions for presentations.

APA Convention 2026

Expanding the Reach of Biofeedback & Neuromodulation

📍 Washington, D.C.

🗓 August 6–8, 2026

Submission Deadline: January 14, 2026

Invitation to Join a Coordination Meeting

The Northeast Region Biofeedback Society (NRBS) and International Society for Neuroregulation and Research (ISNR) cordially invite you to participate in a strategic effort to enhance the visibility and understanding of biofeedback, neuromodulation, and qEEG within the broader psychological community.

To maximize the success of our submissions, NRBS and ISNR have scheduled a Google Meet on Monday, December 15 at noon-1 ET.

Please let us know if you are interested and/or might be interested in participating by registering to join the meeting by adding your name and area of interest to this form.

What This Session Will Do

  • Coordinate submission topics to avoid duplication
  • Develop compelling narratives that appeal to APA reviewers
  • Share best practices for framing our work in accessible, engaging language
  • Strengthen our collective presence at this important convention

Why This Matters

  • Share Knowledge: Expand awareness beyond current practitioners
  • Strategic Approach: Craft compelling submissions that resonate
  • Coordinate Efforts: Avoid overlap and maximize impact

Our Opportunity

Biofeedback and neuromodulation remain underrepresented in mainstream psychology. By aligning our messaging and tailoring submissions to APA’s diverse audience, we can improve acceptance and spark meaningful cross-disciplinary dialogue.

Your Participation Matters

Whether you’re a seasoned presenter or submitting for the first time, this session offers practical guidance and shared support to help your work reach a wider audience.

We look forward to collaborating with you!

Warm regards,

ISNR & NRBS
