You are looking at 2024 data. Last year, research at the VA was largely shut down. The door closed just after the $1.5M controlled study of ILF Endogenous Neuromodulation was published. VA scientists briefed on the study pronounced the results ‘unprecedented in our experience.’ The Principal Investigator, Judy Carlson, saw the handwriting on the wall and moved into quasi-retirement status. Her contract monitor at the VA was given her walking papers.
