There was a show that I enjoyed a lot that was canceled during the second season. I was upset because it was the first show that I watched that had an actual continuous storyline to follow. The news was made that they would finish the series with an 8 episode season for the 3rd season. That show goes by the name of Make It Or Break It. Make it Or Break It premiered on ABC Family (Freeform) in 2009. The series starred Ayla Kell, Josie Loren, Cassie Scerbo, and Chelsea Hobbs as four gymnasts working towards their dream of winning gold at the Olympics. The series lasted 3 seasons, although it was really more like 2 and a half.
Let me break it down on how their seasons worked. Make It Or Break It followed a similar format for their seasons that a lot of drama series have. The first two seasons consisted of 20 episodes split between two parts. They would have a mid-season finale and a season final. The season 2B finale of Make It Or Break It was all about the girls competing at the World Championships. I mean them doing great at the World Championships is a decent finale right? Wrong! The World Championships are not the Olympics and the whole goal of the series was to see the gymnasts win gold at the Olympics, so something needed to be done. ABC Family, at the time, thought they did something to ease the fans, but they made a mistake. There was an amazing setup that they did not take advantage of.
With the last episode of season 3 premiering in May of 2012, there was a gap between the last episode and the beginning of the 2012 Summer Olympics in July. Normally, the first half of a season premieres in the summer while the 2nd half premiers in the following spring. With season 3 premiering in the spring, there was an opportunity for reality to match up with fiction.
I just discovered this show while I was sick at home and I binge-watched the entire series in a week and a half. I loved watching all the gymnastics involved in the show and wondered how they managed to do all that since they were actors and not gymnasts that played those roles.
There was one thing missing on the show, however, instead of having a mystery girl that they never mentioned as the fifth member of the team going to the Olympics, I wish they had taken Kelly Martin in the end. She turned out to be a sweet girl that just had an overbearing mother that made her feel all the stress and turned her into a mean competitive person, but she was nice in the end when she ended up working together with the other rock girls. It would have been nice to have her as the fifth team member.
I also agree with everyone else that the series ended prematurely. They never should have ended the series prior to the girls going all the way!!! We needed the conclusion of the show to be watching them winning the Olympic medals.
I think that would have been really easy for Ellen to do, since to me Emily always thinks people are out to get her. I think maybe Payson or Kaylie being the one to betray the Rock would provide a nice twist. I would have liked to see Emily and Lauren connect more even if it was just them as frenemies.
I could not agree more I miss this show so much it deserves more it is still to this day one of the best shows I watched I was truly hooked on the show even rewatched the show a bunch of times from start to finish it need to come back
A flash in the past series or movie would be such a good idea! It would give us fans of the show some much needed closure, and it would be so cool to see who won and what everyone is up too. Make it or break it was the first teen-drama show I watched so I have a lot of thoughts about it lol
I definitely think they should bring this show back. It was a great show I smiled I got mad it was perfect. I want to know what happened to everyone. Maybe the girls grew up had kids of their own maybe they a gymnast maybe they became coaches something
That would be an interesting storyline for a new show! Seeing their kids as gymnasts or seeing the girls being involved in the gymnastics world as adults. There are so many ideas out there, Freeform needs to take notes lol

The next day, like your cat bringing a dead bird to your doorstep, Lauren presents Kaylie with her missing necklace. In another display of safe gymnastics practices these people seem to be known for, Kaylie puts it on immediately.
Every week we will break down the little moments that stood out as being extremely on point and those that wobbled a bit too much. Shout out to Vulture and its Gossip Girl Reality Index for providing the template for our version.

One thing that I feel that has kept the viewership is that every episode is a cliff hanger. I know I keep watching because I want to know what happens next.
As for season three taking place in a prison once more, I thought about this jokingly. Personally I think that this is just way to far fetched, and just drags the show on even more.
I am finding it hard to remove myself cold turkey from the act of reviewing media that I come in contact with. So, in good nature, I have decided to give my fairly unbiased opinions about a television show that was first featured in 2005 and I first watched in 2012 called Prison Break.
the break is really an amazing show to watch it is full of emotions compounded with hate, love and envy all through the seasons whetting your appetite to watch simultaneously without a break
especially the American bond they show when they get to Sona rules are rules to the Panamanian drug Lord in the battle field
the team work and so on..
it was really interesting show ever.
.
i still have unaswered questions.in season one,the convicts applied fertilizers on their bed and i wonder why they did that.also i feel mike and linc could have disquised themselves better and that would have sort of reduced the chase.still best show ever though
Sasha is the only Olympic gymnast to have ever beaten Marty and has four Olympic gold medals. Although he is very tough on his gymnasts, he cares for them profusely and wants them to reach their highest potential. Sasha is shown to be a tough coach, forcing Payson, Emily, Lauren and Kaylie to do a rigorous training exercise as a punishment for attending a party. Sasha had previously trained a group of gymnasts but was forced to quit after a girl died of a head injury on his watch. As a result of this incident so, Sasha quit coaching, and consequently The Rock is his first coaching job in over five years. He eventually comes back after Payson, Lauren and Emily visited him in Romania ("Hungary Heart").
Sasha had previously trained a group of gymnasts but was forced to quit after a girl died of a head injury on his watch. Sasha quit gymnastics after that, and coaching at The Rock is his first job in over five years. His relationship with the Rock manager Summer is slightly strained, as he doesn't share her beliefs and doesn't appreciate her advice, but ends up kissing her after a debate about discussing abstinence with the gymnasts. In hindsight, he says that he "lost control" and agrees with Summer that it should not happen again, though there is evidence that he has some feelings for her. Later, the two kiss again in excitement after learning that the Chinese National Team is coming to The Rock for a club meet. In the episode "And the rocky goes to" he walks Summer's home and tells her that he wants to get married but it has to be with the right woman and then they kiss. Sasha and Summer are now dating.
He is shown to be a tough coach, demanding that Emily, Kaylie, Payson and Lauren to do vigorous exercise as a punishment for attending a party. He is also shown to be caring, compassionate and understanding towards his gymnast, especially when he learns the true reason to why Marty left The Rock and proceeds to punch him in the face as a result of it. He at one point spent a lot of time helping Payson train after her surgery.
Sasha is the only Olympic gymnast to have ever beaten Marty. Sasha has four Olympic gold medals. He kicks Emily out of the gym and out of Nationals at one point, but allows her back in after she proves she is willing to listen to him.
Although Sasha is very tough on his gymnasts, he cares for them profusely and wants them to reach their highest potential to go to the Olympics. He tries to do what is best for them, and helped Kaylie, Lauren and Emily place 1st, 4th, and 12th respectively at Nationals. Sasha is shown to be a tough coach, forcing Payson, Emily, Lauren and Kaylie to a rigorous training exercise as a punishment for attending a party yet in the end, teaching them a valuable lesson about obeying the rules. obedience is one of Sasha's main principals
