Hi!

There is a rumor in my Teves family that an ancestor was sent to the leper colony on Molokai. Does anyone know if the records of “inmates” of Molokai are on the web any place? Or is there someone that can be contacted. This “uncle” would have had the last name Teves or possible de Teves, and he would have been in the colony sometime after 1880.

Thanks (Happy Thanksgiving)

David Teves

Hi David,
As far as I know, the Molokai records are not on the web anywhere.
>From what I learned in my own research, they can be found in two
places. More information can be found in this article that I wrote
about the settlements on Molokai:

Thanks,
Mel
