IslandoraCon is back! Join us in beautiful Ontario this July for an incredible event combining a use-a-thon, workshops, community sessions, and events designed to bring together the wonderful Islandora community.


The conference will be held at the University of Toronto Scarborough in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from July 25th-28th, 2023


Call for Proposals for IslandoraCon 2023 is open now! The deadline for submissions is May 1.


We particularly welcome proposals that are using the latest version of Islandora, including stories of migration and planned migration, and toolsets and approaches that make the most out of Islandora architecture. Proposals can be for:

  • Workshops (1-2 hours in duration) - instruction on a toolset or topic

  • Lightning Talks (5 minutes in duration) - brief introductions of a topic or project

  • Panel discussions (1-2 hours in duration) - 2 or more panelists

  • Presentations (.5 hour in duration) - discussions of a relevant topic

  • Other - we can work with you to determine where you best fit!

Review Process
