Archidora module - proposal for inclusion in Islandora

Greetings,

On behalf of the University of Saskatchewan Library, I would like to offer the Archidora module for inclusion in Islandora, with a canonical repo on GitHub owned by the Islandora Foundation, subject to the same release management and documentation processes as other Islandora modules. 

The Archidora module (https://github.com/discoverygarden/archidora) enables integration with Archivematica; the corresponding code in Archivematica is available with the most recent release of Archivematica (1.4) and the Storage Service (0.7). Initial documentation is available at https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/ISLANDORA715/Archidora

Archidora was developed by Discovery Garden under contract with the University of Saskatchewan. It is available under the GPL 3 license, and we are in the process of having a corporate Contributor License Agreement signed by the University of Saskatchewan.

Hi Tim-

Nice to see this.

Since we have a change to get this in before the code freeze on
September 1, 2015, which could make it apart of the 7.x-1.6 release.
Will you be the component manager, or do you have someone who will be
the component manager?

Thanks, Tim! As Nick notes, we may need a component manager to get this into a release, bit I'll take the proposal to the Roadmap Committee this Friday and let you know where things stand after that

Thank you for contributing this tool back to the community. It has been accepted by the Islandora Foundation. Currently it has a home in Islandora-Labs where it can be further developed and adopted by the community as needed.
