Fedora 6.5.1-RC3 Available for Testing!

Hello all, 

After the first few weeks of Community testing and some feedback on a few outstanding PR’s we have released RC-3 for fcrepo 6.5.1.

New changes in 6.5.1-RC3:

  • Updates to rage request handling at the storage-ocfl level
  • Updates to allow for encoded slashes

 

Download and Test RC3:

 

6.5.1 General highlights include:

  • Updating the OCFL-java library to v2.1.0 which will bring performance improvements for S3 write speeds.
  • Updating Docker tagging schemes.
  • Updated documentation.
  • Several transactions-related bug fixes.
  • Several Security updates

Hi Everyone,

In case you missed it before the weekend, last week the Fedora team announced Fedora 6.5.1-RC3 is now available for community feedback and testing. Now we need your help! We need users to kick the tires on the Release Candidate to ensure everything is functioning as expected.

 

See below for how you can help! Recognizing that we are already in December, we are aiming for a full production release at the start of the new year.
