Problem with imagemagick and PDF covers

Hello,

After successfully ingesting 6 documents, I now get the following error whenever I try to ingest a PDF:

User error: ImageMagick error 1: GPL Ghostscript 8.70: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 convert: Postscript delegate failed `/drupal/private_files/etd_temp/MQ62463_0.PDF': No such file or directory @ error/pdf.c/ReadPDFImage/682. convert: no images defined `jpg:/tmp/MQ62463_0.TN.jpghLc0wC' @ error/convert.c/ConvertImageCommand/3145. in _imagemagick_convert_exec() (line 519 of /var/www/html/sites/all/modules/imagemagick/imagemagick.module).

Not sure how it can be working one minute then go sideways the next. Anyone else encounter this error? How did you fix it? I am running on CentOS 6.5 with GhostScript 8.70 and ImageMagick 6.8.7-4. I was using ImageMagick 6.5 something when the error started but tried upgrading to a more recent version, but still get the same error.

Is this the first PDF you have tried to convert?  The error looks familiar, but I can’t quite place it.

No, this appears after successfully converting the same document multiple times (for testing purposes). Then the error appeared. I have discovered that this error only appears when trying to convert only certain pages. It works for page 0 or 3, does not work if converting page 2. Really odd behaviour.
