Hello,

I'm following the documentation here to create a local Islandora site:
https://islandora-collaboration-group.github.io/ISLE/install/install-local-new/

However, when I get to starting the docker images in Step 7, the portainer container fails to run with the following error:

```
portainer: error: unknown long flag '--no-auth', try --help
```

I've found this bug report that indicates that this might be caused by running an older version of portainer that doesn't support the `--no-auth` flag:
https://github.com/portainer/portainer/issues/721

So I tried to modify the docker-compose file in ISLE to pull in what should be the
 latest, `portainer/portainer-ce` (as per https://hub.docker.com/r/portainer/portainer)

However, after making this change, I'm still getting the same error.

Has anyone else run into this?

Hello,

I am still running ISLE7 while I finish my migration to newer ISLE for Islandora 2, but I have not run into this issue yet. I assume you are running an existing ISLE7 site or is this a brand new ISLE 7 site? I ask because ISLE7 is end of life.

Also, another member of the community larted me of this related issue...
https://github.com/portainer/portainer/issues/4305

where they say...
"In Portainer 2.0 and onward we will not be providing a no-auth flag any longer, so you either need to remain on 1.24.x, or adapt your use case to accommodate our long-life authentication token."

Sounds like a workaround is needed or we can try running an even older version of Portainer?

I am not the best person to respond to this, but I wanted to offer a bit of additional info.

Good luck,
Yamil

Hi Yamil,

I'm working on moving an existing ISLE 7 site to another server, and I understand that Islandora 7 is EOL.

Thanks for pointing me to that Github issue -- I was able to solve it by modifying the docker-compose file to grab an older version.

Unfortunately, I ran into other issues with the install scripts, so I'm looking into doing a manual deployment as documented here:
