Hello, Islandora!

Joining the Islandora Code of Conduct Committee (CoCC) offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the well-being and inclusive growth of the Islandora community. Having been operational for over a year, the CoCC is now seeking new members. This dedicated team of volunteers from the general Islandora community and the Islandora Coordinating Committee (ICC) serves the community by addressing reports of Code of Conduct violations, and by formulating and implementing best practices in training and policy that uphold community safety. By joining, not only will you champion the values of diversity and inclusiveness in our community, but you will also be provided with training in incident response. While the role demands challenging emotional labor, its positive impact on the community is invaluable. If you are deeply committed to advancing the Islandora community's core values, this committee is the perfect avenue.
