Hello all,

I’m excited to announce that Fedora 6.5.1 Release Candidate is now available for testing.

Some highlights include:

  • Updating the OCFL-java library to v2.1.0 which will bring performance improvements for S3 write speeds.
  • Updating Docker tagging schemes.
  • Updated documentation.
  • Several transactions-related bug fixes.
  • Several Security updates

RC Downloads and Release Notes are available on GitHub for the following projects:

Fedora can be run directly from DockerHub images with a simple:

docker run -p8080:8080 fcrepo/fcrepo:6.5.1-RC

Alternatively you can download the fcrepo WAR file from the above GitHub link and deploy it into your container server

We now need your help in testing the RC and reporting back on your findings.

Please provide your feedback on the wiki, on Fedora Slack in the #Tech channel or by reaching out directly to me at dan....@lyrasis.org
