There's still time to catch the Early Bird rates for the Islandora Camp taking place July 18-20 at Mount Saint Vincent University, in beautiful Halifax Nova Scotia. There aren't always iCamps in Canada, so this is an opportunity for in-depth learning about Islandora without international travel.

The Islandora Foundation invites you to Halifax, NS for Islandora Camp, taking place July 18 - 20 at Mount Saint Vincent University. This is Canada's Islandora Camp for 2018, so we thought your team might be interested in joining us.

Islandora is an open-source software framework that was first created on Prince Edward Island. Now adopted at over 225 institutions across the globe, it is designed to help organizations and their audiences collaboratively manage, and discover digital assets using a best-practices framework. Built on a base of Drupal, Fedora, and Solr, Islandora releases solution packs which empower users to work with data types (such as image, video, and pdf) and knowledge domains (such as Chemistry and the Digital Humanities).
Islandora Camp is a three-day event consisting of two days of conference-style sessions and one day of hands-on training led by expert instructors from the Islandora community.
