It's related to your costs... probably amortized costs of capital itmes
plus cola wouldn't raise too much notice.

2 - 4 % is the LEGAL amount..........
All increases MUST be approved in advance by the RT office.
3 monthes notice MUST be given..

I consider myself fairly INFORMED on tenancy issues and
will be attending some Tenant Arbitrations in the next few monthes
on the SIDE of the renter or tenant.

Reason I ask is my girlfriends rent went up from 900 to 950, but she does
have common gas fireplace and hot water and the gas prices went up quite a
bit.
