Nice work. I like the new graphics, BTW.

Today I wrote a new WHOIS gateway for looking up domain names. In
addition to .COM, .ORG, .NET, etc. this one also knows about various
international domains including .CA You can also use it to find out who
owns a set of IP numbers.

This is useful for checking to see if a domain is taken yet, and it's also
useful for tracking down spammers, etc.

I did and I love it. Thanks Mark. Also found out that the domain I'm
thinking about grabbing is available.

Works great Mark, will it be edited shortly to include the proposed new .shop
mall , and the other new domains that should be coming into effect soon.

Please be aware that all these proposed new domains are just that, none
are official and none are working (at least not via the official root name
servers). At this point if you register a .shop, .web, .biz, .corp, .inc,
etc. domain it is not guaranteed that you can keep it or that it will ever
be useable. There are some sites out there claiming ownership of certain
new top level domains and they are already selling them - but they don't
necessarily have any legitimate claim to them. Just be cautious.

Having said that, yes - if these new top level domains ever become
official and they create whois servers for them I'll add them to the list.
