HOW TO PERFORM SAJDA-E-TILAWAT

Sajda Tilaawat will be performed like a normal Sajda. Wudhu is a
condition.

There is no Sajdah Tilaawat when the Aayat of Sajdah is heard on tape.

Face the Qiblah and without raising the hands, recite Takbeer (Allaahu
Akbar), going down in the Sajda position. In Sajda, recite Subhaana
rabbiyal a'alaa at least 3 times. Thereafter, reciting the Takbeer if
you wish to. If you wish, you may arise from the Sajda position into
the Tashahhud position. The Sajdah Tilaawat is now complete. There is
no need for Salaam.v

Sajda-e-Tilawat According to my Understanding:

I brief glimpse of the status of THE GLORIOUS QURAN, the divine book, the only book on the face of the earth which is a living miracle, in its pure form. It will remain in its form no one can corrupt it. This is guarded by angels in Lohim Mafooz, & in the hearts of the holy people.

When recited over " living things" such as "water" in its full rage, the water calms down.
a guide for mankind.

ALLAH the Most Wise says in the Glorious, Holy Quran:

59: 21.  Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.

COMMUNICATION WITH QURAN.

In Surah AN-NISA chapter number 4 verse number 82

"
Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy. "

A famous conversation amoung ALLAMA IQBAL and his father:
Allama Iqbal was reciting Quran that his father told him to recite the Quran in a manner that, it is been recited over him.

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, was once walking through an area that HE [saw] heard a lady  reciting this verse of the Holy Quran "HAL ATTAKA HADITH UL GHASHYA" which means " Has the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)? "
Although the women was not addressing Prophet Muhammad [saw].
The Prophet peace be upon him instantly replied, NAAM ATTANI, NAAM ATTANI, NAAM ATTANI

means Yes i have recieved, he replied it thrice.

Other names of the Quran include the following:

    • "Al-Furquan" which means the criterion (the standard, the benchmark or the reference point) by which one can judge clearly between the true and false, the right and the wrong, the good and the evil...etc (cf. Al-Furquan 25:1)

    • "Al-Kitab " which means the written book (Cf. Al-Baqarah 2;2, Al-Imran 3:3 & 7)

    • "Al-Dhikr" which means the reminder (Cf. Al-Amran  3:58, Al-Hijr 15:6)

    • "Al-Tanzil" which means sent down or bestowed from high (Al-Shu'ra 26:192, Al-Ahzab 33:2)

    • "Al-Quran Al-Kareem" which means the honorable Quran (Cf. Al- Waqi'ah 56:77)

    • "Al-Quran Al-Majiid" which means the glorious Quran (Cf. Al-Buruj 85:21)"

    • Al-Mus'haf" means collection of pages or scripture (This is a popular Arabic name which is not mentioned in the Quran).

Quran's Main Theme:

    • Presents the existence of God as an absolute reality through many signs, attributes, proofs, arguments, and refutation of the atheists and idolaters' arguments.
    • Invites man to the right path and clearly present to him the guidance which he has lost because of his negligence or wickedness.
The Quran in its form is a unique book based on the following:
  • it has no subject organization
  • it is not a biography of the Prophet
  • it is not a chronological history of the prophet-hood
  • each chapter or Surah is a separate unit but covers a variety of subjects
  • it covers a broad number of subjects such as God, prophet-hood, history, natural science, social science, ethics, economics, law, politics,  ... etc but not in a conventional way
The Style of the Quran

  • Is unique Arabic style, unsurpassed in purity and beauty
  • Uses contrast pairs such as reward and punishment, good and evil, ...etc
  • Uses many examples from historical events and from man's environment

While Listening to the Glorious Quran ALLAH subhana-wa-taala commands us "When the Quran is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy. "  Quran 7:204

When anyone listen to the Quran with a sincere heart and mind, the beautiful rhythm of Quran will bring the listener to a point, where his emotions will force him to submit in-front of his Creator, Cherisher, Sustainer, The Alpha n The Omega. Glory be to him.

What is the purpose of this life?

What is the purpose of this life?
Money, holidays, a beautiful wife?
There is no point in us denying
Each heart beat brings us closer to dying

You'll breathe your last
Your life will have past
Don't pretend
Death's not the end

You will taste death, death never waited
Look around you, every thing's created
It has a creator, it has a meaning
A mother gives birth and then comes it's weaning

The sun rises and gives us light
It sets, then falls, the blanket of night
The plants all grow, when falls the rain
They give fruits to man, and they too will wane

Why does man think that he will get away?
Spending life aimlessly, as if he's here to stay
A fixed time is appointed, everything will perish
Everything you hate, everything you relish

Except the Almighty Allah, He will remain
And then will come judgement, all on one plain
Allah will say, I gave you life
I gave you health, wealth and a wife

What did you do with your time?
What did you do in your prime?
Did you spread my message, did you spread islam?
Why not? Did you not read the Quran?

My friends, we muslims, we are so blessed
Allah gave us islam to supercede all the rest
My non-muslim friends, the Quran must be read
Read before it's too late and you're dead

You owe it to yourselves, it will make you cry
You'll know these words are from the Lord most High
Instructing mankind to the purpose of life
And the reward my friends is everlasting life

Our purpose is to worship our Lord most High
The reward is heaven where no one will die
You'll have anything you want, all the best dishes
And Almighty Allah will grant all of your wishes

This life my friends is just a cage
We should live by His orders, to be safe from his rage
You will understand when you read the holy Quran
You'll know the religion of truth is islam

Protect yourself and your families from hell
Embrace islam and all will be well
For the deeds of this life, you'll pay the price
In the depths of hell or in paradise

Sajda-e-Tilawat is simply to make sajda by saying Allahu-Akbar, going into sajda, and reciting three times 'Subhaana rabbi-al a'alaa'. There is no need to stand or even raise the hands, as one would do when commencing Salat. There is also no salam on any side after making the sajda.

And Allah Knows Best.

May ALLAH help us in grabbing the soul of The Divine Book. ALLAHUMA RABBE ZIDNA HIKMAA< ALLAHUMA RABBE ZIDDNA ILMA.

Ameen
