Is your community interested in staging a Multicultural Festival or Event? 

Applications for funding through the Victorian Government’s Multicultural Festivals and Events Program are now open!

Funding will support digital or face-to-face events, held between 1 January 2023 and 30 June 2023, and will be offered in two streams:

  1. Small events up to $2,000
  2. Large events/festivals between $6,000 and $50,000

Applications close at 3pm on Wednesday 17 August 2022.

Information sessions to assist you with project planning and application process. You can register for these sessions via the links below:

Tuesday 2 August, 6pm - 7pm (new and emerging communities)

Thursday 4 August, 11am - 12pm

Walaikum salaam sister Anam,

Thank you for sharing this information regarding the latest round of Multicultural Festivals and Events Program grants.

I think that we should apply for another grant to hold an Eid al-fitr event next year based on what we have done previously.

I can look into applying for this years grant. Hopefully it will be of a similar format to the one that I completed last year.
