Dear Valued Donation Point Tap Customer
Thank you for continuing to use Quest Donation Point Tap to raise funds for your cause. We hope that Donation Point Tap is making a positive impact.
We are writing today to advise of a small cost increase to the transaction processing fees that apply to Donation Point Tap.
Due to the rising costs of processing these transactions, our transaction fee will be increasing to $0.12 + 0.2% per transaction (GST inclusive). This fee increase is driven by the cost of scheme fees that we incur from Visa and Mastercard.
As a Charity with DGR status, your merchant facility does not incur fees for Interchange for domestic cards. Interchange fees, however, are applicable for international cards (i.e. cards issued from outside Australia). Unfortunately, the fees for processing these international cards are significant (up to 2%) and we unable to continue absorbing these costs. Our new fee structure will now pass on Interchange fees when they are incurred. Interchange fees will be shown as a separate line item on your monthly statement if they are charged.
Please also note that the new pricing will be “net settled”, which means that transaction fees will be deducted from your daily settlements.
We regret we have had to increase our fees to you, having postponed this change for as long as we could. Please find attached your new Fee Schedule which will apply from 1st March 2023.
