Dear all,

i know that we don't have words to express our feelings in respect of Dr. Asad Zaman. but we are trying to arrange a party where we can express some of our feelings as well as to listen valuable talk by Dr. Asad Zaman. IT will be a memorable event. and we are trying to make it an event that will remain in our memories in good words. Insha Allah.

i have received many emails from different students, happy to see the love and respect that students have for our RESPECTED, TEACHER, MENTOR, DEAREST & KIND FATHER Dr. Asad Zaman.  Those who want to be part of this event, must meet me tomorrow at 9:00 am. and before that, must email me till tonight. i have to give you some very important information. 

We have to finalize all necessary arrangements tomorrow. hope you understand time constraints. so please be active :) those who have already email me, i am sharing details with them, rest please contact me soon.

Salam Ms Uzma,

 

I hope you remember me. I studied Current Issues in Islamic Economics last year with you people. I will just, very briefly, ask about two things.

 

1) Dr. Asad Zaman's services are valuable and he must be given a befitting farewell;

 

2) I have been given a task by my organization- a kind of research project of a bout 15000 words- which I have to submit 

    before the 8th of January. The topic is " What is the cost of Natural Disaster on Pakistan Economy and to what extent are these

    caused by climate change". Now its a topic very much related to Environmental Economics/ sciences. My question is if I could find

    a specific link which could give me access to research papers and other related materials. Also whether Environmental Sciences is

    taught in the IIUI?

 

I am seeking your help only and only because you people are connected with all these activities. I hope I am not bothering you..

Dear Amad Yousaf,

1. In IIU, there is separate department of Environmental Sciences.

2. Regarding research articles you can use Google scholar, REPEC, SSRN. these are search engines which we normally use.
