I have made a data base of all the isnads in al-Bukhari that have Abu
Hurayra as first narrator. It is In this Google group as a file called
AbuHurayra.rtf. It probably is not accessible from Usenet. The file
is a Cetus Wordpad Rich Text Formal file and, I assume, can be read in
Microsoft Wordpad or even in Word. There is no dependency on format
and the file might just as well have been a DOS text file,

I hope the form of the entries is self-evident. Please observe that I
had to add a few footnotes in order to get all the entries onto single
screen lines. The al-Bukhari version assumed is the Khan translation
available on line (although, of course, the isnads come from the
Arabic) which I searched for all occurrences of "Hurayra" in order to
form the data base.
