قال ابو عبد الله ع فی زیاره الاربعین: و بذل مهجته فیك لیستنقذ عبادك من الجهاله و حيره الضّلاله
And he (Imam Hussain) made every effort and put his heart, mind and soul to liberate the people from the yoke of ignorance and the evil of bewilderment.
Once again memories have become fresh and once again there is a flood of the tears shedding from eyes of the lovers.
Once again the slogan labbayk ya Husain (as) reverberates around the world.
Once again followers of the flag bearer of freedom have come out beating their chests to demonstrate their aversion to the tyrannies in the world. Each strike of the chest symbolizes a slap on the face of the oppressors.
The tears of the oppressed nations throughout history are to emulate the true followers of Aba Abdillah il-Hussain (as) who was martyred in Karbala with his family in 61 A.H.
Saturday marks the commemoration of the 40th day of martyrdom - one of the greatest traditions where people en masse give allegiance to the martyrs of Karbala and pay tribute to the shrine of the grandson of our Prophet (saawa), the leader of all oppressed people and chief of all martyrs of the world.
These are the days when lovers of the truth and justice are making history by going to the land where tyrants of the world were defeated with blood of true heroes, the sons of prophets who were the true sons of Makkah and Mina, the true sons of Abraham, Moses and Jesus peace be upon them - the true sons of humanity.
Today millions of people are heading bare footed towards the land of Karbala.
During the past few years enemies of humanity, with the help and support of bigger oppressors of the world, gathered all their resources to occupy the land of Iraq and to silence the slogan labbayk ya Husain and to stop the lovers of Imam Husain from heading towards Karbala.
They wanted to silence the voice of the oppressed from being heard in this world. Zionist forces, with all their shameless plots, committed shameful atrocities using the barbarians like Daesh (IS/ISIS).
All resources were used to stop this largest protest of the world, but today millions of Hussainis with their slogans, armed with the love of truth and justice have moved towards Karbala. Karbala is steadily becoming the center for the hearts of lovers of justice and peace; who are waiting to see a time when this world is filled with the peace and justice through the son of Aba Abdillah (as), Imam al-Mahdi (as) when he reappears to complete the mission of Karbala and Ashura.
Today the movement of Imam Husain (as) has reached its peak and we can see the result of aza and mourning throughout the history. There was a time when the Shia used to mourn the tragedy in closed quarters in Hussainias and Islamic Centers. However, today they are engaged in a greater jehad with the walk towards Karbala. It can clearly be seen that one side, belonging to Abu Sufyan, Yazid and Shimr (la) and Umar ibn Sa'd is writing the dark chapter of history by cutting the throats, by taking out the liver, by demolishing all the signs of Islamic history and by enslaving women and children in this modern era. On the other hand are the lovers of peace and humanity walking towards the same area without any weapon but with the weapon of faith and tranquility and with the weapon of love and affection, marching with the slogan "we are here O' leader of the martyrs".
They have demonstrated that they are true lovers of Aba Abdillah.
So today let us ask the media to be silent, let us ask TV stations to remove their cameras and ask all the journalists to close their mouth because they never want to be on the side of the oppressed and never like to represent truth and justice. But remember you are standing with oppressors of the world.
Today even if you (the media) do not report the reality, the people will become the media and deliver the message throughout the world. These millions will change to billions and to your surprise all nations will chant Labbak ya Hussain.
Let Imam of the Age (as) arrive and let Jesus (peace be upon him) stand behind him and wait for the promised time when oppressed masses will get together and they will break all the idols of the world.
Today this great march has proven that victory cannot be achieved by tanks, helicopters, guns and modern weapons but only when human beings come together for a common cause under the leadership of a true leader.
O' oppressors and tyrants of the world, be afraid of the time when this gathering moves to break the idols and the time when these faithful take a stand against all oppressors.
We pray that may Allah protect all zuwwar of Imam Husain (as) and may Allah send peace and blessings upon the land of Karabala.
